1. Brief Introduction

Qujing Normal University is located in Qujing City, Yunnan province, China, the birthplace of the Pearl River, the second largest city in Yunnan, hometown of Cuan Culture, and one of the “Top Ten Livable Cities in China”. In 2007, it received a B rating in the undergraduate education accreditation by the Ministry of Education, and since 2010 it has been one of the universities enrolling high-quality students in Yunnan Province. In 2018, it became a provincial construction unit for master's degree granting during 2018 to 2020. It has developed into an important base for cultivating qualified teachers and a main window of advanced culture construction.

Qujing Normal University currently has 18 teaching and research institutions and 6 teaching auxiliary institutions, There are 8 provincial-level key disciplines including 1 plateau discipline of Yunnan Province, 3 construction disciplines for Master's degree programs, and 2 key disciplines with advantages and characteristics. Besides, the University has 59 full-time undergraduate majors. The bachelor’s degree programs cover 9 major disciplines, namely economics, law, pedagogy, literature, history, natural science, engineering, management, and arts.

International education of Qujing Normal University is gradually deepening. The University has established as “Qujing Branch of Yunnan Preparatory College for Studying Abroad”. It was approved the “National Language and Character Promotion Base” in 2019, and now becomes one of the Chinese Language Education Bases of Yunnan Provincial Government, carrying out various forms of joint talent training projects such as “2 + 2”, “3 + 1”, “3 + 1 + 1” modes.

Language & Cultural Experience Program	2-4 weeks	The fee standard will be determined according to the teaching and activity contents mutually agreed.	Include course experience and cultural visits, cultural visits outside Qujing area are optional and at the student’s own expense.

Note: Both online and offline teaching are available.

3. Scholarships

There are three types of scholarships: Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship, Chinese Scholarship and University Scholarship.

Type of Scholarship	Scholarship Standards
Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship	A maximum of RMB 30,000-35,000 Yuan/ person/year.
Chinese Scholarship	Up to RMB 8,000-10,000/person/year for a maximum of 3 years.
University Scholarship	Up to RMB 2,000-4,000 per academic year for advanced Chinese language students and up to RMB 4,000-6,000 per academic year for international students on academic programs.

4. Majors for Full-time Bachelor Degree Program

Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL); Business English; Logistics Management; Physics; Computer Science and Technology; Internet of Things Engineering; Data Science and Big Data Technology; Software Engineering; Musicology; Dance Studies; Fine Arts; Cuan Calligraphy; Physical Education; Advertising Studies; Hotel Management, etc.

5. Accommodation

Qujing Normal University has built the international students’ apartment on campus. The apartment is fully equipped with comfortable bedding and facilities.
